Life happens and unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. To be effective & fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
HIKARI Massage Therapy & Reiki will be happy to reschedule or cancel your appointment with 24-hours advance notice.
All appointments require a credit card for scheduling.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
24-hours advance notice is required when rescheduling or cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24-hours advance notice, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% charge of your appointment. For the same day cancellation, there will be a 100% charge. A cancellation fee will be charged to your authorized credit card.
CONSECUTIVE CANCELLATION &/OR RESCHEDULING
After two or more consecutive non-emergency cancellation &/or rescheduling, the practitioner will determine the future scheduling policy.
For whatever reason a person misses an appointment without reasonable notice, it will be considered a “no-show" and it will result in a full amount charge.
Late arrival may result in your session to be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, the practitioner will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session. Regardless of the length of the session actually given, you will be responsible for the “full amount” of the session. If it is determined to be not enough time, the appointment will be considered as same-day cancellation which may result in a full amount charge.
Out of respect and consideration to the practitioner and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. To all clients, we ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment in order to ensure a full session. For first-time clients, it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes prior to fill-in the intake form.
